About the Author: Sheriee Dardis (below right)
After thirty years in the Fine Art and Framing industry, author Sheriee Dardis has finally settled down to write. Sheriee and her family left Tampa, Florida in 1986. Mother of two grown daughters, grandmother to Bella, and wife of 28 years, she raised her family while growing a very successful company in the frigid north. The Dardis family returned to Florida in 2003 and now reside in Jupiter. Sheriee has been inspired by the tranquil, tropical lifestyle of South Florida. "It seems that everywhere I look, there's a story to be told; in the endless sky, the deep mysterious ocean, in the swaying of the palms, and of course, in all life under the surface of the sea."
About the Illustrator: Sean Kelley (above left)
From the tender age of one year, Sean Kelley has been an artist. "My mother sat me in a highchair with paper and crayons to keep me from coloring on walls…like that could stop me!" Since then, Sean has been a well-respected commercial artist in the United States, Canada, and the Carribean. He lives in South Florida where he specializes in large murals and marine images. His most recent accomplishments include the creation of the SeaTails characters and the illustration of the SeaTails books. "And I still won't stop coloring on the walls!"
